Ephesians 3:17b-19
I’ve always loved Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians. It’s the gospel all rolled up in eloquence and simplicity.
“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how high and long and wide and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
God is love.
Take root in his love, establish yourself in his love, find power in his love, grasp the depth of his love, be filled with his love – The Bible’s Valentine’s Prayer.

Amen. I love those verses of Paul’s that talk of the vastness of God’s love. “I am convinced that neither life nor death, nor angels nor demons neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
