Life Application Study Bible Giveaway.

*This drawing is now over.  Congratulations to the winner, Kristina!*

I like the bible.  And I’m no translation snob so I like the NLT on occasion.  (I especially love my NLT chronological bible, but I digress)  So when I received a free award certificate for a Tyndale NLT Life Application Bible I decided to spread the love a bit, y’all.

I can’t vouch for this study bible personally because I’ve never studied from it, but I’m trusting Tyndale to have done a rocking job with it.

So, who wants a free bible?

Just leave a comment telling me why you’d like this study bible to be entered into the drawing.  Winner will be chosen this Thursday, February 24th.

Ooh! I would love a new bible. A study Bible for home would be fantastic! I have a little pink pocketbook Bible that I carry with me all the time that is getting torn up.

I have had a LA bible since I was a teen, and I love them! Of course I don’t use the same one :-) But, this would be great to give my hubs cause he doesn’t have his own.

Let me say, when I enter contest like this, I never have any luck in winning anything, lol, but I love studying the bible, because I now see it as a tool for life and it help me see the what, why, where and how when I read. I believe Jesus is the Word of God, because the Book of John (John 1:14-18) says, “…the Word that became flesh,” so I understand that the bible is the scriptures that I read and understand with a whole picture and should not to be taken literally. Winning the bible would be a blessing to me and it would get much use! Thank you for this opportunity! :)

My Mother-in-law has one of these and she really enjoys it! She is a missionary so I think she can be trusted! ;0)

I would love this Bible! I struggle trying to find devotions to do. This reminds me of the student Bible I had back in high school. I loaned that one to someone. It would be great to have a Bible that shows how it is applicable to the season of life I am in right now.

I’m in the market for yet ANOTHER bible – this would be a great addition and (I think) the translation I need now.
    Thanks!

The bible I have has been in my life since I became a Christian 8 years ago. I know it sounds silly, but I actually have a difficult time reading the bible and applying it to my life on most occasions. I think a LIFE APPLICATION bible sounds very helpful, I would love to win it.

I’m kind of a Bible junkie. I love all different translations and this is one I don’t have! What fun! :)

This is a terrific bible! I bought mine from a local military yard sale website and my husband has enjoyed using mine! Whenever I can’t find mine, it’s b/c he’s he’s taken it and been reading it! I would like for him to have his own, but they’re so expensive.

I’m enjoying reading your posts and praying for you and your upcoming move.
    Many blessings.

It would be great to get the Study Bible. My wife has one and I’m a little tired of borrowing it. I’ve been looking for one, but they’re pretty expensive. I enjoy reading hers and the extra tidbits of information and application that it gives. It would be great if we each had our own!

  13. Jan Cox says:

    HI,
I know that this is an excellent Study Bible – I would love to have another Bible with different commentaries. I like to look up passages in The Message and NIV so another version would be excellent.
Your “How to Pray” post is reprinted today on Under the Cover of Prayer. Thanks again.
    Blessings

  15. I am constantly getting into personal bible studies with people and sharing a bible is ok for those times, but when you really want to challenge a person so that they can have a personal relationship with God, they need their own. I promise you this bible is not for myself, I have a very nice thompson chain, that being said would prefer not to give someone a poorly made ‘free bible’ and you seem to be the only one offering. I know I am the last one to post. but there is a baby christian that needs that bible. thanks for your consideration
