Hi Jessica, this is my first visit to your blog, I came over after reading your post on The Homeschool Village on homeschooling during a move (or other big transition). We are in the process of moving in a few weeks and everything seems so daunting at times! But, the reason I’m writing is because is 2010 we moved our family of six (children ages 1-9) from California to Virginia, so I’m familiar with long distance travel and homeschooling. It’s a big move, one certainly to be seasoned with patience and grace. Good for you for not expecting too much school wise, but rather concentrating on keeping healthy relationships. I hope to learn from you! Susan
Thanks. We once moved from California to Maryland! :) But, it was during the more “summer months” and my kids were younger and not as “school-aged”. Thanks for stopping by.
