Remember when we moved into this tiny summer apartment and I was all “Oh, this is so awesome and quaint, I could do this forever.”
Yeah, well. Not so much.
Although, to be fair, it’s not the space itself that’s getting to me. It’s the Wild Boys. They’ve, apparently, lost their minds. They’ve become extremely whiney and way more physical with each other than normal. And I’m losing sanity cells, y’all. One repeated question at a time. I suspect that part of the problem lies in them being cooped up here in the apartment.
So, while I do indeed still like our compact living space, I’m very much looking forward later this week going from this:
To this:
Oh, and see that lovely space outside the kitchen window? It’s a crazy little thing called a “backyard”. It has such novelties as a “playhouse” and “trampoline”. Praise the Lord.
Now we just have to try and not turn gray worrying about how we’re going to pay for it. If God provides the house, he’ll surely provide the means to keep it, right? (Working on a couple of eBooks right now, btw. Stay tuned. )
Until then, pray for us all.

Yay Trampoline! I want a trampoline!

I think when you’re trying to sell or attract renters you have to fake reality a bit in your pictures. ;)
Excellent point. I assumed you took the picture. Lol.

The kitchen in your new house is goregous! If a house as an awesome kitchen, I’ll probably love the rest of it.

The contrast between the two pictures cracks me up. It really does look like new kitchen is old kitchen on steroid. Or something.
Beautiful! Can I move in with you too!

Congrats on your new home and latest adventure! I love your comment/question, “Now we just have to try and not turn gray worrying about how we’re going to pay for it. If God provides the house, he’ll surely provide the means to keep it, right?” My husband and I purchased a home almost 3 years ago after much prayer, that we felt God led us to as part of our “promised land”…:) On those days that I “worry” about paying for it, (more so the taxes, not the payment) that is what God gently reminds me. If He gave it to us, He will provide the way for it. We do our part by working diligently (well, Rick works~ I manage the home) and being good stewards, but He is our SOURCE. God bless as you pursue HIM!!
The difference was really huge.
The feeling of being at home is totally different when you are in an apartment!
Home is like heaven. Space is real!
